AIAS

AIAS (Asociación de Industrias de Acabados de Superficies) has been a Spanish association for 40 years that brings together companies involved in the treatment and coating of metals and plastics, whether pre-treatment or preparation, chemical treatment, electrolytic, paint or plastic coating. AIAS also has associated companies that are distributors or manufacturers in the sector that supply raw materials, installations, processes or machinery, as well as environmental and other consultancy services. AIAS currently has 130 member companies.The services offered by the association are of the following types:

• INSTITUTIONAL: Institutional representation of the group in the different Administrations.
• INFORMATIVE: informative circulars on topics of interest to the sector (environment, legislation, etc.).
• AIAS ACADEMY: in-house courses on electroplating and painting, and more general training through the ESEC training centre.
• TRADE FAIRS: group participation in trade fairs and/or representing our partners by distributing their catalogues.
• TECHNICAL CONFERENCES: organisation of Technical Conferences aimed at companies in the sector, with the collaboration of manufacturing partners and/or distributors and companies or entities specialising in the field.
• MAGAZINE: a quarterly magazine, aimed at members, in which technical articles and press releases are published.
• PROMOTION: from the website of AIAS --> Associates, the association offers an open consultation service by speciality, where you can search for coating and treatment companies, or suppliers, consultants, etc.
• EU: participation in European Union projects, aimed at SMEs. AIAS is a member of CETS (European Committee for Surface Treatments).
• OTHER SERVICES: AIAS is a member of the employers' organisation Centre Metal-lúrgic, which is integrated in Confemetal. AIAS associates are also members of the Centre Metal-lúrgic so they can access the services offered by the employers' association in all types of consultancy (financial, quality, marketing, etc).
