SCARA TS2 robots

SCARA TS2 industrial robots are intelligently designed with a 4-axis encapsulated arm, allowing them to operate in a variety of environments, from harsh and dirty to sterile thanks to their IP65 protection. They are equipped with a CS9 controller that is easy to use and access, with integrated web server technology and ease of system integration.

Stäubli TS2 robots are ideal for both Pick & Place applications where high picks per minute (ppm) are achieved as well as applications where high precision is required, such as assembly or dispensing silicone for seals.

The handling of electronic components will require the TS2 ESD version to be prepared for use in electrostatic discharge sensitive environments.

The hygienic design according to EHEDG recommendations and its resistance to chemicals allows the TS2 HE version to be used in food environments.

Compatibility in the pharmaceutical industry is guaranteed with the accessPharma and Stericlean range, ISO 6 and resistant to cleaning with IPA and H2O2 respectively.

They are very versatile, allowing both floor and ceiling mounting and have a fully cylindrical working range thanks to the ± 180° travel of axis 1. Lightweight and rigid construction offers high dynamics, agility and precision.

They feature an integrated tool changer, Stäubli MPS 010, which allows automatic and/or manual connection and disconnection of several tools, providing great flexibility and time savings, helping to achieve a rapid return on investment.

JCS gearboxes, designed, manufactured and patented by Stäubli, guarantee repeatability, precision, path quality and robot speed. Durability is guaranteed by being bathed in a synthetic oil sump; with the possibility of using NSF H1 food-grade oil without loss of performance.

No batteries and reduced maintenance guarantee minimum TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). In addition, sharing components and controller with the rest of the range simplifies use and interchangeability.

Ready to be connected to the production world, including OPC UA to communicate with MES / ERP platforms. The incorporation of state-of-the-art fieldbuses ensures connectivity with PLCs, grippers, cameras, sensors and other digital devices.

Finally, the TS2- 40, TS2- 60, TS2- 80 and TS2- 100 models offer a reach of 460 mm up to 1000 mm.
