Stäubli, with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical market, has developed 4 and 6-axis robots, offering the widest range designed for an aseptic environment. These robots are equipped to operate in environments with high cleanliness requirements and are characterized by their encapsulated hygienic design, resistance to hydrogen peroxide vapor and installation flexibility.

SCARA TS2 robots are 4-axis robots that incorporate patented JCS gearbox technology that facilitates ultra-short cycle times and high repeatability. In addition, it has a revolutionary encapsulated design that opens new possibilities for use in sensitive environments. They have a range of 460 mm to 1000 mm.

TX2 anthropomorphic robots are 6-axis robots that provide the ideal combination of speed, rigidity, size and precision with unique features that make them suitable for any industry, including sensitive environments. The TX2 arm and its CS9 controller enable high productivity and collaboration thanks to a unique set of optional SIL3-PLe modular safety functionalities with a reach of 515 mm up to 2609 mm.

Robot-based automation solutions are the first choice for small-batch production runs in personalized medicine. They offer the additional advantage of minimizing human contact and thus avoiding the risk of contamination.
